The Endocannabinoid System is part of the human body like the Central Nervous System or Cardiovascular System.  It’s primary function in the body is to bring balance or “homeostasis” through a vast cell signaling system found in the brain, vertebrate, central nervous system, immune system and peripheral nervous system.  Endocannabinoids are made on demand by the body acting as chemical messengers when they bind to cannabinoid receptors; CB1 and CB2.
